Welcome to "Big Japanese Market Returns to Crows Nest" Booking page!

This event will take place only one day on 21 March 2026 at the Crows Nest Centre. We have more workshop / services available on the day, but here are some providers offering pre-booking to your experiences. Please read the course details below before placing your order, feel free to leave comments if you have any questions or requests.

1. Japanese Lounge

The Japanese Lounge is a relaxed resting and dining space (not a childminding area) where guests can stay for approximately one hour. Entry will be $5–$11 per person.

All activities are included in the entry fee:

Japanese Learning Corner (led by 3 Japanese teachers)
Kendama Challenge to win a prize (Japanese Grocery Online Shopping Tickets)
Business Card Making (for adults and kids)
Japanese Restaurant Navi
Japanese Travel Tips
Kids’ Colouring
Lemon Balancing Challenge to win a prize (Rice and shopping $20 Shopping coupon at Tokyo Mart)

All participants will also receive a set of complementary packaged food and drinks (Drink bottle, Cup noodle, and snacks - subject to change)

The aim of the Lounge is to encourage mingling and communication. If we can promote mutual cultural understanding, that would be wonderful. Please take it easy — these activities are simply ice-breakers!

2. Hassle Free Professional Kimono Portrait Photo Shooting

Come experience a professional photo shooting at an amazing rate at the market - Available only from 11am - 12:30pm - Exclusive to approx. 6 guests only! Pre booking is strongly recommended to secure your gowns.

The session includes incredible two complementary services - KIMONO dressing & MATCHA experience

1. KIMONO Dressing

You will be invited to wear a Kimono gown over your clothes for the photo session. We recommend wearing something with a relaxed neckline so the Kimono collar can sit neatly and comfortably. Of course, you are also welcome to come in your own favourite outfit.

We will prepare:

A selection of Kimono and Yukata (casual summer-style Kimono)
Sizes mainly for ladies and children
One gown for gentlemen

Please note:

Availability and sizes cannot be guaranteed
The Kimono featured in the poster best fits Australian size 9–10
As this is a bust-up portrait session, height is flexible

You are very welcome to participate in your own clothes if you prefer.

📸 Photo Session

If a suitable Kimono is available, our specialist will assist you with dressing and guide you to the outdoor area for a short portrait session. Alternatively you are welcome to joint the session in your own favorite costumes.

You will receive:

One professionally edited digital image (delivered at a later date)

🍵 Matcha Tea Experience

After your photo session, take a quiet moment to enjoy a freshly whisked bowl of premium matcha.

Prepared by a professional tea ceremony team, the experience includes:

High-quality matcha
Traditional Japanese sweets

This tea service is complimentary.

Even if you don't choose to wear Kimono for a photo session, this complementary tea service is included.

👩‍👩‍👧 Group Bookings

If you would like to join with friends or family, please select the group package.

Kimono/ Yukata may be available for group participants to try; however, sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that group pricing is based on the photography session and not on Kimono dressing.

ORDER PROCESS

you’re welcome to send your reference images via email after placing your order.

Purchase the Relevant Product
Please purchase the appropriate product(s) from our online shop. If you're unsure which product to choose or can't find what you're looking for, feel free to contact us directly for assistance.
Provide Reference Photos
Send us at least one close-up and one full-body photo for reference. If no photos are provided, we will create a generic figure that is not personalized.
Share Your Customisation Details
Let us know your specific requests, including product size, pose, hairstyle, clothing, skin tone, hair and eye color, and any other important details. We handcraft every part from scratch and will do our best to meet your request, though some features may have limitations.
Payment
If payment hasn’t been made through our online checkout, we will send you an invoice or guide you to complete your purchase online.
Production Begins
Once payment is confirmed, we will begin crafting your order.
Review & Approval
When your item is complete, we will send you proof images for your approval. Minor adjustments can be made at this stage.
Shipping
After you approve the final image, we will ship your order via Australia Post or Sendle, complete with a tracking number.

All our products are personalised and customised, requiring 2 to 14 days for production.

Please check the estimated lead time before ordering, especially if your event is within 14 days.
Production time varies depending on the product.
During peak periods or unforeseen events, production may take longer than 14 days, and we may close orders early for the month.
To avoid disappointment, we recommend placing your order up to 6 months in advance.

Your order will be dispatched via Australia Post or Sendle, and you will receive a tracking number once shipped.

If you want to skip the queue and get priority production, you can purchase the Priority Production option for $15.

Estimated delivery times (within Australia):

Standard shipping: 3–8 business days
Express shipping: 2–3 business days

Australian Domestic Postage

Your order will be shipped as a parcel with Australia Post, and a tracking number will be provided. Postage costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on actual rates.

International Postage

International shipping uses Australia Post’s International Parcel Post service, including tracking. Costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination country.

If your country or address isn’t recognized by our system, please contact us for a shipping quote and arrangements.

Note: Due to tax and trade regulations, we currently do not ship to the United Kingdom or Ireland.

Some countries may charge customs or tariff fees that are not included in the shipping cost. We are not responsible for any customs-related charges or delays.

Estimated delivery: Please allow up to 20 working days from dispatch confirmation. If your order hasn’t arrived after this period, contact us and we will assist.

Refunds & Returns

As all our products are custom-made, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges, even if breakage or loss occurs during shipping.

However, if we confirm that the fault was caused by us, we will issue a voucher to cover part of the cost.

● By sending the fund, we consider you accepted the terms and conditions. Please make sure to read it though before ordering.

●Toppers are a basic likeness to the subjects and not an exact reproduction.
● All sales are final and we do not issue refunds or exchanges.
● We do not refund or replace the order if there is any damage or a lost occurs in transition.
● Your finished topper will be dispatched well in prior before your event date, but if delivery delays for any reason, we cannot issue refunds or credit.
●Toppers are not insured during transit, and we cannot refund, replace the order.
● In the event of your product beeing damaged during transit, please report to us immediately. We will advise the best way of fixing the item temporary to make sure an event can be carried on as planned.
● Pictures of your finished toppers may be used as examples in our SNS or website without permissions.
● Any personal images or information you shared with us will not be used for promotional purpose without your permissions.
● The customer information we obtain is confidential.
