Japanese Lounge は、休憩や飲食ができるスペースであると同意に、文化交流を楽しんでいただける場所として提案しています。
ご来場者は約1時間滞在でき、入場料はお一人 $5〜$11 を予定しています。

利用者全員にパッケージされた軽食やドリンクのプレゼントもあります。
ラウンジの目的は、交流やコミュニケーションを楽しんでいただくことです。お互いの文化理解を深めるきっかけになれば嬉しいです。内容はあくまでアイスブレイク用の簡単なアクティビティですので、どうぞ気軽に取り組んでください。
The Japanese Lounge is a relaxed resting and dining space (not a childminding area) where guests can stay for approximately one hour. Entry will be $5–$11 per person.

The aim of the Lounge is to encourage mingling and communication. If we can promote mutual cultural understanding, that would be wonderful. Please take it easy — these activities are simply ice-breakers and are not meant to be complicated.

当イベントは、シドニー在住の日本人作家や事業者が集合してものづくりの視点から自由に日本の良さをアピールし、ローカルのコミュニティの皆さん、日本人コミュニティの皆さんに楽しんで頂きたいという趣旨のイベントです。
実は日本について話し出したら止まらないお客様が結構多いんです！そんな日本好きな方に、日本語を教えてあげたり、英語の練習を兼ねておしゃべりを楽しんでみませんか？高い語学力は必要ありません、日常会話ができれば十分です。ご自身も楽しんで、来場者に楽しんでもらって、日本が愛されている事を実感できる貴重な体験になると思います。
This event brings together Sydney-based Japanese artists and business owners to showcase the beauty of Japan through craftsmanship, creating a space for both the local and Japanese communities to connect and enjoy.
Simply walking through a market doesn’t always start conversations — but once people begin talking about Japan, many can’t stop! Why not share a little Japanese, practice your English, and enjoy meaningful exchanges?
We’ll provide natural conversation starters and activities, so no advanced language skills are needed. Just everyday conversation is enough. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have fun, connect with visitors.
