My dream workspace
My dream workspace

As a child, I dreamed of having a career that combined all the things I loved. At university in Japan, I studied communication and advertising, which led to my first job at an advertising agency. There, I gained valuable experience in marketing and developed a growing interest in computer graphics. After moving to Australia, I transitioned into a career as a graphic designer.

But after getting married and having children, returning to a high-pressure, deadline-driven job became impossible. I dedicated the next few years to raising my kids—until one day, while preparing a birthday cake for my daughter, I discovered the world of sugar crafting. I became fascinated by fondant modelling, especially the delicate art of figurine-making. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and soon, I was creating custom pieces for friends and my local community. That’s how my business was born.

Eight years on, I’ve always thought of my work as an extension of my hobby. But today, that’s changing. I’m embracing the idea of growing it into a full-fledged business. This marks the beginning of a new chapter—one where I get to work in my own creative space, surrounded by art supplies, doing what I love every day. It’s a dream I’ve carried since childhood, slowly coming true.

Now, my ultimate goal is to spread joy and bring smiles to even more faces through my creations. That, to me, is the true dream fulfilled.
