I’ve been creating fondant figures for many years now. Over time, I’ve taken custom orders for cakes and crafted a wide range of character and theme-based creations. Among all the work I’ve done, I’ve always been especially passionate about “Minime” figurines—personalised figures that resemble real individuals.

These figurines have celebrated weddings as bride and groom toppers, marked birthdays with miniature portraits, and brought joy to family milestones. Each time, I’ve been deeply touched by the appreciation from clients who felt the pieces made their occasions truly special.

To me, recreating a real person is the ultimate challenge in figure-making. It’s not just about resemblance—it’s about capturing personality, expression, and emotion. It can take several attempts to get just the right look, and the process of translating two-dimensional photos into natural, three-dimensional forms is both demanding and intricate. Every angle matters, and the detailed manual work means I can’t focus on speed—I focus on soul.

And still, I keep making figurines. Why? Because I believe this is something only I can do.

My motivation behind Minime on the Cake is simple:To continue creating something truly one-of-a-kind—something no one else can replicate.
